Latest word on Portman jazz bar: open by May
Friday, February 8th, 2008I have been informed by illustrious vocalist Anna J that the Portman Ritz-Carlton second-floor jazz bar will definitely be open on or before May 1st of this year, because she has signed a contract to perform there starting from that time. Of course, it is entirely possible that the bar will be open even earlier…but it’s not clear right now if that is the case or not.
Anna Jacyszyn, better known in these parts as Anna J, has been spending the last half year or so back in Canada taking care of various things back there before she returns to Shanghai.
