Free jazz improv workshop this sunday

This master class will focus on improvisation, especially for musicians who already have a background in classical music but want to get better at improvising.??  It will be held by the illustrious Washington D.C.-based pianist Burnett Thompson, who has performed both classical and jazz in all manner of venues and capacities.??  The class will be held at the JZ School, lane 270 Wuyuan rd no. 6, starting at 2pm and lasting about an hour and a half.??  All are welcome but if you do plan to attend, it would behoove you to call the school (5403-6475) to let them know you’re coming.

If this sunday won’t work for you, there will be another held at the same time a week later on April 8.
