Hi, guys and girls, my name is Joepie, I am a 29-year old jazzguitarist/improv.teacher from the Netherlands.

I am looking for a place in Shanghai (and/or Beijing), where I can join any kind of jazz-group; whether it be a trio, a quartet, whatever, as long as there is place for a guitar.

I'll be happy to hear from you !

Hi, this is Faye, I'm in Steve's class. Sorry I missed ur performance yesterday, coz on the schedule Lawrence's band should be the second... But I will go to the May 13 performance, i think the whole Steve's class will go.

I think Bconnected's music is sometimes a little bit too new agey, that lost the sense of jazz. And the chinese intruments are not so original, except for the pipa, which did do some interesting improvise. I like the Vienna Tony Jazz Quintet better, they are skillful. Yea, it gets boring when they repeat the same pattern for each song, but overall it's good hearing.

BTW, can I link to your site on my blog, which is at http://fayeyu.spaces.live.com/ ?
