Washingon D.C.-area pianist Burnett Thompson will present this lecture/performance together with erhu player Ma Xiaohui at the Shanghai Public Library on west huaihai lu.?? He is coming to Shanghai for most of January to do a series of concerts and lectures, most of which are presented together with erhu player Ma as well, who is quite well known.?? She has collaborated with a number of pianists before, and is probably best known for her playing on the soundtrack of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.
