Next “Twocities in Tune” concert: Steve and Coco
Even though pianist Steve Sweeting, who has been organising this concert series for a few months now, has let me know about a few of these concerts already I’ve been irresponsible in getting the word out to you about them.?? Until now, that is.?? I’m going to redeem myself (at least a little bit) by letting you know about this next one, which will feature the vocal prowess of Coco Zhao as well as Steve’s own piano playing.
The “Twocities in Tune” concert series have been taking place at the twocities gallery at M50, the gallery/studio complex/art colony on Moganshan Rd.?? Steve has invited at least two other vocalists to join him for these concerts in the past, and they’ve been so successful that the tradition is continuing.?? Unfortunately I haven’t been able to make it to any of them yet, so I can’t give you a much better impression of what to expect from the space or the format.?? However I’ve worked with both Steve and Coco a good amount by now so I can tell you that you can expect a great concert.?? I’ve heard they are collaborating on some new music as well for this special show so I think it will be lots of fun.
I’m bummed that I’ll have to miss this one too, since I won’t get back from Santa Fe till the 30th.?? Let me know how it goes…

My daughter was born on his birthday March 8th , and that was the last time I sopke to him 12 years ago.
